Rania

Navarro

Rania is a singer, dancer and actress born and raised in Mexico. Coming from a family of artists, she became interested in
performing since she was very young. She started to take dance lessons at the age of 2. She graduated at the age of 17 from
School of Dance and Arts Coppelia’s Ballet where she mainly trained in classical ballet with complementary dance classes such as jazz, contemporary, tap, theatre dance and acting. She
started her vocal training at the age of 14. She has studied voice with renowned mexican teachers such as Juan Navarro and
Laura Chuc. Her vocal training has been focused in bel canto, opera and musical theatre. On 2019 she attended the Great Masterclass, that took place in Monterrey, Mexico, with the musical director and NYU teacher Stan Tucker (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Cats). Later that same year, she had her first contract on a musical
theatre production as the character “La Rosa” at the 30th anniversary of the legendary mexican musical “¡Qué Plantón!” under the direction of Guillermo Méndez M. During the year 2020 she was invited to sing in different national virtual concerts and festivals, as well as the national singing
competition “Canta México Canta”. She was also able to attend some on-line masterclasses with Broadway artists such as
Sierra Boggess, Christy Altomare and Kelli O’hara.
