Lainey Cooper is a 17-year-old singer, actress and dancer. She has been studying voice with Joy Lober Anderson for the past three years and has participated in multiple master classes through the Broadway Mentors Program with acclaimed members of the theater and music production community, such as Jeffrey Lesser, Anthony Crivello, Rebecca Luker, Alice Ripley, Dominic Scaglione Jr., Emily Skinner, and Merri Sugarman. Lainey’s acting experience includes the roles of Kim MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie Jr., Ursula in The Little Mermaid Jr., Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast Jr., the Witch of the North in The Wizard of Oz Jr., and most recently as Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Jr. She is an avid dancer and has trained at Gotta Dance NJ for the last 12 years in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater style of dance. She is also part of their Showstoppers Dance Company, offering an immersion experience in a professional dance environment. When not performing, Lainey enjoys going to the gym, the beach and spending time with family and friends.
